What are the requirements for the aluminum plate used in the base of the CTP Plate?

The CTP plate is computer-to-plate, a high-end product of the PS plate. Widely used in positive PS plates, thermal CTP plates, photosensitive CTP plates, UV-CTP plates, and other offset printing plates. The characteristics of CTP technology have specific requirements for the quality of CTP plates and plate substrates used in producing CTP plates, such as apparent quality, physical properties, and adaptability to electrolysis.
Requirements for CTP plate on the apparent performance of the base

The basic requirements for the appearance of the aluminum plate base are clean, smooth, and free of cracks, corrosion pits, points, vent holes, scratches, folds, marks, peeling, pine-like patterns, oil marks, etc.; the surface is not allowed to have Defects such as non-metallic pressing and sticking, horizontal skin, and horizontal lines; slight color difference, bright stripes, etc. are not allowed; no bulges, ruffles, etc.

Requirements for flatness of plate base in CTP plate production

(1) The gap between the unfolded surface of the aluminum roll and the plane should not be greater than 1mm, and the number of waves per meter of the unfolded surface should not exceed 3;

(2) The side is bent, and the length of each meter cannot be greater than 1mm;

(3) The aluminum coil should be tight, with neat end faces, and cracks and burrs are not allowed.

Thickness tolerance +0.003(mm)

Width allowable deviation +0.5(mm)

The allowable deviation of plate length is 0~+1(mm)

(Strip) side curvature<0.2(mm)

Diagonal allowable deviation <2(mm)

The average value of surface roughness Ra: 0.17 ~ 0.21μm.
